Course Schedule
Our weekly Basic Rider Course
schedule stays the same year-round. Our classes beginning class run
from Friday to Sunday and the schedule is as follows;
Friday: 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm (approximately)
In
room book study and note taking. Just classroom work, so you don't
have to wear required safety apparel. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE.
Saturday: 7:15 am to 3:00 pm (approximately)
Start
out on the training range learning motorcycle basic handling, then
back in-doors for book study and note taking. Take written exam and
get ready for exam on range Sunday morning. You will have 1/2 hour
for lunch.
Sunday: 7:15 am to 3:00 pm (approximately)
Start
on the range to learn more advance motorcycle handling along with
taking your riding exam. The day ends with receiving your
certificate of course completion. This entitles you to receive your
Florida Motorcycle license. You will have at least an hour for
lunch, during which we will be getting your exam results together.
What do you need for the class?
1. Helmet - Your own helmet is acceptable provided
that it is has DOT certification, but will be inspected by the RiderCoaches to
ensure they meet DOT standards. They must be in serviceable condition.
2. Eye protection - Face shield, goggles sun glasses, or
prescription glasses may be worn.
3. Full Fingered Gloves - Any gloves that cover
the entire hand and fingers, such as motorcycle gloves, garden or mechanics
gloves.
4. Long Pants - Jeans or leather full length long
pants, with no holes.
5. Long Sleeve Shirt - Any long sleeve shirt
or jacket..
6. Over the angle Footwear- Boots are preferred, but any
sturdy over the ankle footwear is acceptable. Thin canvas shoes are not
acceptable. |
